COONAMBLE police are currently investigating an incident where a vehicle was found torched after it was reported as stolen from a local residence.
Between 9pm on Wednesday 18 May and 7.45am on Thursday 19 May, unknown persons forced entry into a home on Aberford Street, Coonamble, and stole a white Ford utility.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were notified at 8am on Thursday, and commenced an investigation.
Reference images of the stolen vehicle were also circulated on social media.
