THE Coonamble Bears travelled west last Saturday to take on the Premiership favourites in the Castlereagh League competition and the heading told the story.
With several senior players unavailable the youthful squad of Derek Robinson, Preston Smith, Kyle Wiggins, Jake Fernando, Jye Dixon, Jack Kelly, Mitchell Nalder, Daniel Sangster, Brenton Glover, Joshua Forgione, Brian Wallace, Luke Primmer, Braeden O’Brien, Jack Barrett and Jermaine Thurston gave it their best shot.
The Roosters’ forwards proved too strong for the Bears which has been the case all season, were out muscled.
