On Wednesday 10 August, Coonamble High School hosted the 50th Single Cup.
The Single Cup has a rich history, dating back to 1971 when two teachers from Coonamble High; Mr McEntyre and Mr Ken Bogan along with a local businessman, Mr Ken Single were pondering how to increase the sporting opportunities for students in the area.
They contacted Coonabarabran and Gilgandra High Schools and proposed a three-way sporting competition.
