THIS week we experienced some unusual warm weather with a slight wind blowing from the north on Wednesday 14 September when the lady golfers held a V’s Par Event over 18 holes.
Not a lot of players like V’s Par but it is a game that makes you concentrate on your game and playing to your handicap.
You get a minus for playing bad, a square for playing good and a plus for playing extra good.
That’s the way to explain to someone that doesn’t play golf.
