The Australian wool market has continued its downward trend this week, with the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) dropping 20 cents to end the week at 1,235c/kg.
The finer Merino fleece types were a large attributer to this, with 18.5 micron and finer dropping between 34 73 cents respectively.
In addition, overall losses in the medium/broad Merino types, crossbreds, skirtings and oddments, resulted in a 20 cent fall in the EMI.
