COONAMBLE’s resident bush poet Helen Harvey has quietly notched up another title as she pens her way into the history books.
Although the actual 2021 King of the Ranges Stockmans Challenge and Bush Festival, due to be held at Murrurundi in September, went the way of many community events this year and was cancelled due to covid restrictions, the Written Bush Poetry Competition went ahead, drawing a substantial number of entries from “just about everywhere”.
