AFTER Round 2 of the Western Womens Rugby League competition was washed out, the weather cleared the following week in time for the Castlereagh Cougars to host Round 3 at Coonabarabran.
The Mid-West Brumbies made the trip with 5 teams ranging from U12s to Opens, allowing for a full day of exciting footy.
The Cougars Under 12s managed to nab their first win, putting in a huge effort and downing the Brumbies 7 tries to 2, the scoreboard reading . . .
