Snakes sightings are beginning to surge, with most specimens looking fat and healthy, so it's time for us to be wary.
Experts say the increased groundwater and flooding rivers have pushed snakes away from their natural habitats and forcing them to search for new areas - often leaving them with no choice but to find refuge in backyards, sheds and even homes.
Snakes are also amidst their breeding season - creating a perfect storm for snake-friendly conditions.
