COUNCIL adopted its new Street Trees Policy at their December meeting but it was the fate of two mature trees in west Coonamble that gave councillors pause.
Staff advised of plans to remove the trees just inside the fence at 67 Aberford Street, the front yard of the Coonamble Gym and the questions arose as to who is responsible for the trees and whether their removal was warranted.
