Despite recent rain, Coonamble’s golfers have pushed the boundaries of acceptable playing conditions to ensure a day of golf.
On Saturday, a small army of members attacked the course mowing tees and ground surrounds whilst green keeper Peter Blattman was kept busy all day mowing fairways.
In the end, half the course was made suitable for play and eighteen golfers turned out to play a new format in American Foursomes.
