FORTY years ago today the present Coonamble Court House was officially opened by the Minister for Justice the Honourable JC Maddison.
Among the 170 official guests was Mr Jack Renshaw, Member for Castlereagh.
The opening of the court house brought with it a number of firsts not only for Coonamble but for the State of NSW.
When opened the Court House was the first fully air-conditioned country court house in the state.
