Central West sheep producers are advised that the current system used for ovine Johne’s disease (OJD) on the National Sheep Health Statement will remain in place until at least 1 July 2013, following a decision to delay the introduction of the new National OJD Management Plan for six months.
The Sheepmeat Council of Australia and the WoolProducers Australia announced the six month extension to the transition period on 4 December.
