Serious golf was back on the agenda at the Coonamble Golf Club on Sunday with the first Monthly Medal sponsored by Castlereagh Autos.
20 players turned out to test themselves in a stroke event and it was clear from the results that the long lay-off had not helped the majority.
The six players teeing off in A Grade performed as expected with half of them playing to their handicap or better.
