THE proposal put forward by council to replace the causeways on Pilliga road past the Floddenfield Intersection has been denied by the state government.
The culvert construction project was lodged by council as a part of the Fixing Country Roads Program.
The plan was to replace the causeways with culverts, similar to the ones currently being installed at Euronne Gully along the Quambone Road.
