THE team behind the Arthur Butler Aviation Museum at Tooraweenah are busily preparing to bring an Aerial Rally for Recreational Pilots to our region on Saturday 20 May.
As a competition that will involve multiple aircraft safety approval is required and last week the received the go ahead from CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority).
Pilots and their crews will compete for the Arthur Butler Trophy by pitting their route planning and navigation skills against each other.
"We really want to promote having local pilots enter the rally," said committee member Mark Pitts.
