AN early morning water outage caused a bit of a stir last Thursday 6 April after it left people without water and without answers as to why.
Acting Director of Infrastructure at Coonamble Shire Council, Dirk Jol says the water outage was completely unplanned.
"The crew went out to do a water main shutdown which was only supposed to isolate a couple of properties, but they found a valve that was closed on the Castlereagh Highway," said Mr Jol.
"This more or less closed off the north-western side of the Castlereagh Highway . . .
