WHILE the "biggest roads budget ever" is a clear highlight, the 2023-24 draft operational budget for Coonamble Shire Council has revealed a significant grant-funded investment into the Coonamble Sportsground.
The ambitious upgrade program got underway in early 2020 after councillors agreed in December 2019 to earmark around $1million in funding from the federal Drought Communities Program towards the facility.
