PHOTO: Councillors and staff at Coonamble Shire Council are reviewing their policies and practices that involve purchasing services and supplies from local businesses.
WITH some big ticket projects on their books Coonamble Shire Council is fine-tuning their purchasing and tendering processes with an eye to maximising the value of this funding for local ratepayers and residents.
Part of this is proposed changes to their Local Preference Purchasing Policy which has been on public display over the last month.
