Having won the Carnival’s feature race, the Ladbrokes Gold Maiden on six occasions, it’s hardly surprising that Shayne Stiff and Charmaine Roberts love the October long weekend at Coonamble.
Shayne and his partner Charmaine have been regular attendees for more than 20 years and, unlike many who make the trek from all corners of NSW and interstate, Shayne and Charmaine are “just down the road, a couple of hours away” in Dubbo.
But neither of those are exclusively the reasons why the couple enjoy spending that first October weekend in Coonamble.
