In celebration of Coonamble's NAIDOC Day on Friday 22 September members of the community and the town's schools marched from the Local Aboriginal Lands Council (LALC) down to the Coonamble Sportsground.
A short flag raising ceremony and a minute's silence at the LALC kicked off proceedings, before Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags were handed out to students and community members.
