Despite living six hours away from the coast you may have seen a couple of sea creatures in Coonamble last Wednesday 27 September.
Kicking off Coonamble’s September-October school holidays, Lake Macquarie based ‘Aqualife Explorers’, drove up to Coonamble for the day to spend time with local children from toddlers to primary and show off some sea creatures at the Coonamble Visitor Information Centre.
Organiser of the event, Coonamble Shire Librarian Raquel Pickering says it’s important to give local kids a bit of variety during their school holidays.
