What was once just a hole in the ground open to anyone with a trailer full of rubbish, Quambone's waste management facility is getting a big overhaul over the coming weeks.
In line with the rest of the changes occurring at both Coonamble and Gulargambone, Coonamble Shire Council have been required by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) to adhere to certain modes of operation, or risk facing "millions" in fines.
