Forty three youngsters from across the Western Plains hit Coonamble Sports Grounds on Sunday afternoon 21 April to have a crack at selections for the regional Under-12s rugby union side.
Coonamble local and team coach Adam Macrae told the kids, who came from towns including Brewarrina, Gulargambone, Walgett and Narromine, that selectors were after “hard workers.”
“[We’re] after people who are part of a team,” Adam said.
