Coonamble Family History Society says historical records are at risk after Coonamble Shire moved society items from their former room near the Library to a container at the tip.
Council’s Director of Community Development, Planning and Environment, Barry Broe, confirmed on Monday 29 April that the council had moved the items.
“This was needed to make use of the space for other purposes,” he said.“The items are safe and secure in storage.”
