Mounted Police Visit
CPS students were treated with a visit from the NSW Mounted Police Unit on Friday.
The Unit were in town for the annual Coonamble Rodeo.

Students learnt about the history of the Unit and how the horses are used to keep people safe.

The Officers were very generous with their time and answered our questions.

We learnt that a horse’s tongue is 40cm long and they get regular pedicures!

Thank you to the NSW Mounted Police Unit for visiting us at CPS, we hope to see you at school again soon!

Learning Meetings
It will be an exciting few weeks at CPS as staff, students and parents prepare to meet together to showcase learning and celebrate student successes and achievement.

Learning meetings will take place in the Library and all parents and carers can book times before, during and after school to suit their needs.

Learning meetings are held twice a year as part of our formal reporting to parents process.
