A smaller than usual but enthusiastic crowd of roughly 150 gathered to watch 23 shearers compete in the Carinda Sheep Shear on Saturday 29 June.
“The weather forecast might have scared some off but we had an amazing day,” Ric Warnock, spokesperson for the event said.
Competitors from across the state including Moree, Trangie, Warren, and Brewarrina showed up for the event.
