Around 160 players from across coastal and western NSW went to Wollongong on the 6 July weekend as part of an A Day bowls tournament honoring Coonamble-bred Anthony ‘Decky’ Robinson.
Friends and family filled three greens at Wiseman’s Park Bowling Club, coming from areas including Coonamble, Sydney, Moree, Dubbo and Wollongong.
The bowls tournament, dubbed the Decky Robinson Indigenous Day, raised $12000 for Illawarra community support organisation Coomaditche United Aboriginal Corporation . . .
