Coonamble residents inclined to an evening stroll will walk safer with the installation of lighting on the Pages Terrace-Limerick Street walkway.
Coonamble Shire is aiming for over a dozen solar-powered LED lights to be installed along the walkway behind Coonamble Bowling Club by the end of this week.
Work began just under two weeks ago, with a slight delay due to the workers who received the tender attending another job.
