The sale of the Sons of the Soil (SOTS) hotel to the Melbourne-based construction company Contract Control Service (CCS) has caused a stir in some quarters, especially among some Coonamble grocery store owners.
Gaurang Parekh, co-owner of the IGA supermarket said he wished he was kept in the loop more about the sale of the SOTS.
"Council said they are talking to the local supermarkets about this whole process but they never approached us," Mr Parekh said.
