The Coonamble Shire Council has some of the speediest assessment times for development applications in NSW, according to the performance league table by the NSW Government.
In 2023/24, the average assessment time for building approvals in Coonamble took 36 days, giving it sixth spot on the table.
Council is very pleased with the outcome.
