Coonamble’s housing shortage for visiting essential workers will be eased when the local Country Women’s Association (CWA) prepares to open its renovated flat in October.
Coonamble CWA held an open day on 21 August for the single-bedroom flat behind their hall on Castlereagh Street, which will be open to visiting health, education, arts and emergency service workers.
