We celebrated NAIDOC Week from 2 to 9 September here at St Brigid’s.
We have had Frank Wright, a Gamileroi man hailing from Walgett with ties to the North Coast Dhungutti peoples, come and teach us stories about the local totems and the stories behind them.
Frank has been painting for over 25 years and has collaborated with many artists, communities and companies such as Moorambilla.
His artworks are well known around our community and surrounding areas.
