The Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy (WDVCAS) hosted their first domestic violence (DV) court clinic in Coonamble on Tuesday 10 September.
The clinic gives DV survivors the chance to experience what they can expect on the day they face their abuser in court and gives them the chance to mentally prepare themselves and offers them emotional support.
It is a collaboration between NSW Police to support female victims of domestic and family abuse who have a set date for a hearing. Two local DV survivors present at the first clinic.
