An abrupt blackout struck over 2800 homes and businesses across Coonamble shire on Friday when rains and thunder pounded western NSW.
Lights went out at just after around 5:30pm on 18 October in Coonamble, Quambone and Gulargambone during stormy weather that spread across much of the state.
