Gulargambone's power supply has been future-proofed with more durable fibre composite poles replacing the hardwood poles.The entire program took nearly 3,000 hours of work, according to an Essential Energy spokesperson.To ensure the safety of the workers, the power supply was cut off to the whole or parts of the town on multiple days during the beginning of November while the work was completed.There were six planned power outages in Gulargambone with the longest on Sunday 10 November from 9am to 4pm affecting the majority of the town.Residents said they were aware ahead . . .
