The NSW government pledged on Tuesday 3 December $10.4 million to provide people in Western NSW with a range of specialist alcohol and drug treatment and post-custodial support services.
The funding was originally set aside following the Special Commission of the Inquiry into the Drug Ice which was released in 2020.
It is only now that the money has been allocated, with Coonamble among the communities set to benefit.
