Coonamble provided a warm welcome to well over 600 people who took part in the Country Championships race meeting at Coonamble Racecourse on Sunday 16 March.
It was a summery autumn day with the thermometer reaching 37.5 degrees but the event was nonetheless an all-round success, according to Mick Heaney, President of the Coonamble Jockey Club.
