Emergency services have extinguished a series of suspicious grass fires along the Castlereagh River since the weekend. At t least one blaze came within about ten metres of Coonamble Primary School.
NSW Fire and Rescue and Rural Fire Service were alerted to a scene at around 12:45pm on Monday 17 March, where the Times witnessed at least four trucks.
