The Coonamble Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) is paving the way with the Men’s Wellness Centre which helps men find healthy coping strategies and get them out of the patterns that lead to domestic violence.
The funding is a major boost for the program and will help keep it going for the next three years, which organisers hope will assist with longer term sustainability.
