Members of the Indigenous community gathered for a barbeque on Thursday, 20 March, to discuss what closing the gap (or CTG) means for people living in Coonamble.
The Close the Gap campaign began in 2007 and draws attention to the inequalities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, providing solutions on how to overcome them by 2030.
The National Close the Gap Day has been held annually since 2009.
