The Australian wool market has continued to strengthen, recording another overall rise for the fourth consecutive series.
With 40,144 bales offered, the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) added four cents on day one to stretch the upward run of the EMI to nine consecutive selling days, equalling the run of nine last seen in November 2016.
On the second day, the market performed with mixed results although positive enough for the EMI to record a tenth consecutive rise, this time four cents, equalling the 10 day run posted back in May 2016.
