Police and community leaders met at the Coonamble Local Aboriginal Lands Council last month to touch base on crime in the shire.
Inspector Jason Conolly, Officer In Charge for Orana Mid-Western Police District, Northern Sector, joined representatives from the Coonamble Public and High Schools, the Local Aboriginal Land Council and community service providers on Friday 28 March for the Police, Aboriginal Consultive Committee (PACC) meeting held quarterly.
Inspector Conolly reported on the current position in relation to police staffing and recent crime trends, with the meeting discussing current hot topics on the crime front . . .
