Landholders along the Teridgerie and Mowlma Creeks north west of Coonamble are taking a stand and organising aerial shooting in an attempt to cull feral pigs that have the potential to destroy hundreds of hectares of crops and pasture.
Pigs numbers exploded last year following a perfect storm for breeding. This year landholders are going early in an attempt to break the breeding cycle.
