The Country Rugby League (CRL) was officially formed in 1934, as part of the NSW Rugby League and Coonamble Rugby League decided to affiliate with the newly formed Country Rugby League.
On 9 April 1934 it was announced Jack Dempsey was been appointed as Captain/Coach along with the signing of R Grimshaw as paid player.
