“Women are suffering financially, mentally” CWA President

A record 35 motions are being voted on by NSW Country Women’s Association members at their state conference this week, 19-23 May.

The state conference continued in Wagga yesterday with hundreds of women from all over the state tackling some of the toughest topics in the bush.

Motions on increased feral pig control measures, greater penalties for biosecurity breaches and financial support for remote, rural and regional women forced to travel for fertility treatment have already been endorsed.
