It’s about more than money.
That’s the message from the organisers of a fundraising drive designed to bolster little Layla Davis and her family as they make the long journey through childhood cancer.
Locals and visitors raised a total of $16,300 over the weekend to fund Layla’s ongoing cancer treatment in Brisbane.
Around 50 people turned out for an auction and raffle at the Coonamble Golf Club on Saturday 14 June, where bidders offered as much as $500 for prizes including meat, a washing machine and signed sports jerseys . . .
