Community and council leaders say they are shocked and disappointed after Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) slammed the gate on the 2025 October Carnival, less than two months after the industry body said it would go ahead.
Communication was received late on Friday 20 June from GRNSW advising that the annual Gold Cup Carnival would not be allowed to proceed.
