You might be used to seeing central European holiday makers and Asian migrants pass through Coonamble, but have you met an Estonian yet?
Merili Pungits arrived in Australia from the Baltic nation in November 2022, drawn by higher wages and the chance to see another part of the world.
She and partner Margo first went to Brisbane, then Mungindi on the NSW-Queensland border before landing work the next month at Coonamble construction company Batterline through an Estonian friend.
