Riders from across the Western Plains trotted the showgrounds over the weekend for the Coonamble's team penning competition in early July.
Juniors and experienced riders took part with friends and family in the team penning and ranch sorting, coming from areas including Cobar, Warren, Dubbo, The Marra, Tottenham and Gilgandra.
Coonamble Team Penning Association secretary Tessa Pennell said they had 400 runs over the two days, 40 more than usual for the weekend.
