Rugby League has always been the heart and soul of Coonamble from a sporting perspective and the club has survived through everything that has been thrown at it.
Having to play larger towns in the 1920’s and 1930’s, challenging distances to be travelled when the town played in Group 15, winning premierships and being the premier club in Group 14, always supplying teams as the competition dwindled around them.
